The 60-year-old winner, who came to collect her winnings 2 days later together with her son at the Kuala Lumpur Sports Toto head office. “As Chinese New Year (CNY) is just around the corner, many customers who came to my shop had greeted me with a lot of good wishes. With the feel-good feeling, I had decided to use some small notes in my drawer and asked my son to buy some Sports Toto tickets just to try my luck,” she said. The winner’s son told Sports Toto that he bought some “Toto Fortune Ang Pows” and only checked the result a day after the draw at an outlet after hearing people discussing about the jackpot at a coffee shop. “I could not believe my eyes when I saw that the CheckWin machine actually displayed the whopping RM63,913,531.20 and I could be the winner. So, I checked my phone again to double confirm the result and I quickly ran home to tell my mother about the good news,” he said. It is worth mentioning that the RM63.9 million Supreme Toto 6/58 jackpot is the second largest jackpot in the country following the record-breaking RM69.6 million jackpot from Grand Toto 6/63, which was won last year.
