A Sarawakian won the RM25.9 million Supreme Toto 6/58 jackpot on 10 November 2018 by combining the lucky numbers contributed by his 2 hometown friends and his own selections.When the winner came to collect his winnings at the Sports Toto head office in Kuala Lumpur together with his 2 friends, he said they still could not believe that he had won RM25.9 million over the weekend.The 36-year-old winner, who runs a food supplement business, said they only found out that he won the jackpot after the news spread over the social media. “I did not check the result on Saturday night but everyone was talking about someone from my hometown who had won the jackpot over Facebook on Sunday. So my friends told me that I should check the ticket and we were in shock when we learned that I am the winner,” he said. The winner said one month ago, he was clueless about what numbers to buy and he asked his 2 best friends to contribute 2 numbers each for him to play the Supreme Toto 6/58 game. “That was how we came out with the winning numbers – 2, 8, 12, 13, 22 and 57. I am extremely lucky that I bought these numbers for every draw,” he said.The winner bought a RM8 advance draw ticket, which allowed him to buy 4 draws in advance, to win the whopping RM25,942,388.95 jackpot.He added that he would share the prize with his family and most importantly with his 2 best friends who helped him to win the jackpot. He also planned to do some investments and donate to charitable organisations.
