A 52-year-old housewife, who recently resigned from her advertising job, won more than RM6.55 million from the Power Toto 6/55 jackpot on 8 April 2018. With only RM2, she won the whopping jackpot with her lucky numbers that were inspired by the combination of the age of her family members. The winner came to STM with her husband, mother in-law and her youngest daughter. She is a regular punter and has been playing Sports Toto games for more than 20 years ago and she would usually bet for an amount of RM50. She knew that she won the jackpot after seeing the result on her handphone while she and her husband went to renew passport at the Immigration Department. According to the winner, when she bought her regular Toto 4D numbers, she saw some familiar numbers derived from the date of birth of her niece and siblings on the Power Toto lucky pick ticket that was displayed at the counter panel and quickly she bought the lucky pick ticket and won the jackpot with only RM2. Asked how she intends to do with her fortune, the winner said she would pay off all her debts and loans and keep the money in the bank for her youngest daughter’s education expenses.
